Expert Endocrine Care, Built Around You
Desert Diabetes, Thyroid, and Hormone was created to bring expert, compassionate endocrine care closer to home. Too often, people living with diabetes, thyroid conditions, or hormone-related symptoms have to wait too long, travel too far, or feel unheard during appointments. Our clinic exists to change that experience.
We’re a medical clinic focused on helping adults understand what’s happening in their bodies and what to do next. From your first visit, we take time to listen, review your history and labs carefully, and explain your options in clear, practical language. Our goal is simple: give you a plan you can follow and support you with ongoing care that adapts as your needs change.

OUR TEAM
Brecken Moore, FNP-C — Medical Director
Brecken Moore, FNP-C, is a Southern Utah native, born and raised in the St. George area. As a Type 1 diabetic himself, Brecken has a lifelong, personal connection to diabetes care. From ages 11 to 18, he traveled to Northern Utah to receive endocrinology care—an experience that inspired him to return home and establish a local clinic dedicated to diabetes, thyroid, and hormone health.
Brecken earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in St. George and completed his Family Nurse Practitioner training at Chamberlain University in Chicago. He has a special passion for diabetes management and has grown to deeply enjoy caring for the full spectrum of endocrine conditions. Known for his energetic, outgoing personality, Brecken is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with his patients and providing expert, personalized care.
As a lifelong member of this community, Brecken is proud to offer specialty endocrine services to an area that has long needed them. His goal is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where patients feel heard, cared for, and empowered in their health journey.
Sidney Moore — Office Administrator
Sidney Moore serves as the Office Administrator and plays a vital role in ensuring Desert Diabetes, Thyroid & Hormone operates seamlessly. Born and raised in Alamo, Nevada, Sidney brings a strong sense of community and connection to the many patients who travel from surrounding rural areas for care.
Sidney is dedicated to creating a clinic experience that feels personal, welcoming, and efficient—more like a hometown practice than a large corporate office. With a warm, outgoing personality and a strong focus on patient relations, she prioritizes patient satisfaction and ensures every individual feels valued and supported from the moment they walk through the door.
Together, Brecken and Sidney run the clinic as a family-centered practice alongside their two young children, creating an atmosphere of warmth, authenticity, and compassion that reflects their values both at work and at home.
